It is only a matter of time before any Landrover Defender chassis gets eaten away by rust.

We spend a lot of our time welding and patching Landrovers, including replacing rear cross members.

Re-chassis

With the prices of Defenders rising it can make financial sense to fit a fully galvanised replacement chassis.

We are happy to do this for you.

The work takes around 2 weeks, as long as we get a clear run at it, and costs from £6000.

Given the amount of work involved we recommend you let us replace the suspension, bushes and brake pipes at the same time. This greatly enhances not only the value of your Landrover but also its longevity.

A Defender with a galvanized chassis will likely be on the road for a very long time.

Full restoration

We are able to completely restore your Landrover.  We recently completed a project for a local client on a Defender that we have been looking for many many years.

This included a new galvanized chassis, new brake pipes, bushes, new pillars, firewall, and respraying all the body panels. The pictures at the top are of this vehicle.

This Defender is now likely to outlast me!
